The name made us think that it’s just some standard restaurant but we were so wrong!! every thing was absolutely fantastic!! really nice design, nice and kind staff, our waitress was so nice, she recommended us about the meals and drinks and we loved everything!! the food was amazing!! we started with tuna fish tataki and because it’s a meat restaurant we wasn’t sure about it, but it was excellent ( for our opinion better than most sushi restaurants we have been to) i had a passion fruit cocktail that was fantastic, exactly as i like. for main course we took 2 of they’re special beef filet that served on a hot stone - in was jaw dropping!! we never experienced something like that, you get your steak sliced with butter and sauce a side and you cook your steak on the hot stone plate with the butter, it was delicious!! the best steak we had in london!! my husband doesn’t like steaks so much and even he was thrilled by that steak!! also we got some treats from the restaurant for our anniversary. definitely recommend for any meat lovers, we will be back for sure 😊😊
We were looking for steak and stumbled upon this place. within a minute of walking in the first gentleman cleared up a table amd a second was ready to get us seated as well. they took the time to explain to us first timers how the hot stone experience worked and it was nothing short of fabulous. quick, friendly service, amazing tastimg food and the drinks were fabulous as well. highly recommend, it did not disappoint.
Fantastic experience right at piccadilly circus! we were travelling all the way from toronto and the service we got was top notch! we were here for an early dinner and the staff were so lovely to find us a table. very caring and not looking to rush a meal for a small place! the steak was so well done (not actually well done. got it medium rare)! the side dishes were a decent quantity and served well dressed! the potatoes were crispy, the veggies fresh! though on the pricier side, but that’s to be expected based on the location ! definitely worth a try if one is in the area!
First of all, absolutely great staff. i think she was the manager who makes me throw another star for it. she was very thoughtful and well-organised person. i ordered steak, fish and chips and chicken dish. the food was over all a bit.. too salty. children's menu is very good value though. (i recommend an onion ring it was so good!!) bit of shame that the company get rid of the hot-stone steak which i think one of the most iconic dish from this company. this is one of my favourite restaurant in london so i remember that there was a fire about 5 years ago. meaning it maybe better for safety reason. but someone like me would dislike. i am not sure whether i would visit here again or another for steak.
Booked this lovely little place to eat in before going over to watch the phantom of the opera. the staff were very polite and friendly, and the food was lovely, however i had asked for my steak to be well done and when it arrived it had been cooked to very very rare so i had to send it back which meant that my friend had nearly finished her meal before mine had actually been recooked and given to me again. which isn’t really very good when we were out for dinner together. the second steak was lovely just a shame that the chef didn’t just cook it how i’d asked the first time around.
