Yogarise Peckham - Yoga classes in Peckham Rye, London

Not just a yoga studio – it’s like home! It’s a long review, but I want to give it the time it deserves! I have been to a number of yoga studios over the years, but I can say with certainty that I have never been to one like Yogarise. From the moment you walk in, the positive energy is tangible. Greeted by friendly welcoming people, who make you feel like you are part of the family immediately, you will find a beautiful space with comfy seats where you can order a coffee, relax and have a chat with anyone doing the same (yes, it’s that level of welcoming). There are so many varieties of classes running at different times it can accommodate anyone’s work/life schedule, and whichever class you take, you will be guaranteed to come away feeling so much better for it. Each teacher put’s their own personal style into a class whilst still in keeping with the practice so you know the style you choose will be what you are getting, but with a lot of variety to keep things interesting. Every teacher is fantastic and accommodates all levels. I have grown so much in my practice due to the encouragement to challenge myself and try new things, whilst being in a really safe and supported space. One thing I love is that classes are also fun! It’s not so serious that you are scared to try something in case you fall out of a pose (I have been to classes like that before). Its everything that yoga should be, which includes playful and fun. So, if you are looking for a positive, inclusive, welcoming space, where yoga is for “every body” then look no further 😊

Yin-Yang on a Monday evening with Austin is so so brilliant. He is a fantastic teacher and the studio is so lovely. I always leave feeling balanced, like I’ve had a great workout, and calm! Really recommend the studio and Austin as a teacher.

Really lovely studio. I’ve only done the Saturday yin class (for the last three weeks, couple of times in person and once online) but it’s fabulous. Absolute perfect balance of challenge and meditation, with great alternative options if a pose doesn’t work for you. Just what I need at the moment. Staff at reception are super welcoming too. Will keep going back for sure.

Fantastic class in a fantastic space! A bit of a hidden gem as you have to navigate the sneaky alleyways of Peckham to find it (and find the right stairs!) But it's a very cool organisation with multiple studios, jam packed timetables of classes with a variety of teachers and all kinds of yoga to suit every need. They have changing rooms, equipment to borrow, mats to hire, mat storage to rent and a chill out space with a mini café in there too. Incredibly friendly staff and generally good vibes all round. Highly recommend to anyone.

Beautiful space! Found it via classpass, will definitely try other classes and teachers. Change rooms have plenty space, lockers, air dryer The studio itself is full of light, so good for a morning yoga!
