One of my favourite places, along with the rest of Macclesfield forest ofc. A nice place for a walk, picnic or just to find a quiet spot away from the rest of humanity and find some solice in nature. I generally avoid on weekends and bank holidays though as lots of other people think the same. 😉 …

Amazing walks and fantastic views. Car parking is cheap and a nice cafe too. Take your hiking boots and proper walking gear though.

A lovely place with many walking options and outstanding views down over the Cheshire plain. There is also the historic interest of the mining operations and geology with interesting things to read about on the plaques along the route. …
