The Tyrwhitt-Drake Museum of Carriages

Really interesting visit. The guide was very good. My children loved it.

A brilliant museum of carriages from another era. It is only open at limited times but when it is its well worth a visit. 2 floors to look around with some beautiful examples.

Very small but very interesting place. All extremely old and fragile. One carriage still functional once a year for the Mayor. Very beautiful carriages considering they are very old and tattered. Children get a bobbing horse to ride on while looking around!
