Idle hands is a great little local feeling cafe, in the heart of nq. it's central enough but due to the layout feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle, which is a nice mix. the coffee here is great and isn't too badly priced in comparison to some of the other places locally. the staff are really down to earth and welcoming, making you feel at home instantly. the layout in here is cool too with a mixture of high chairs, group tables and interested decorations inside, which makes it perfect to do some work or just meet friends for a drink.
Amazing coffee and super amazing food! this place is iconic. also a really nice place to work from for a little while.
Great cafe with school bench style seating inside. good quality and variety of coffee ☕️ and other drinks including specialty teas 🫖 and freshly baked cookies 🍪 and all day breakfast 🍳 highly recommend the seasonal cold brews!
Manchester on a sunday morning for bruch was a lot busier than we thought. luckily we got a table at idle hands. i'm super glad we did. lovely atmosphere. we ordered and shared: meaty hash brown stack and divorced eggs. both tasted fantastic. food came quickly and was presented like a work of art. it was so good, i really can't recommend it enough. i ordered one of their famous pies and can tell why. i got the banana milk pie and it was so light and creamy. top marks.
Lovely place for lunch, poached egg on sourdough and a breakfast brioche bap all delicious. the coffee, would be nice if the cups were a few oz larger but the contents are good (everyone wants more of a good thing) we tried a range mocha, cappuccino, flat white and the fritz-limo soft drinks are full flavoured. sat by the windows with a nice draught blowing through. seating is available outside as well.
