Absolutely stunning design, however not very tasty unfortunately. I’ve ordered two cakes from here, the first I asked for a custom flavour which was coconut, however the balance of the flavour in the sponge was not great, but I put that down to it being a flavour she may not be used to using. I ordered a second cake for that reason which was “ raspberry white chocolate”. Again absolutely stunning cake, but I couldn’t tell you how the sponge tasted as the buttercream was very sickly and overpowered everything, coming from someone who has an extreme sweet tooth, the butter cream tasted of nothing but pure icing sugar, it was probably sweeter than those birthday cakes with icing that you get from Asda where you end up scraping the icing off. I’m not sure where the raspberry came in, but the white chocolate buttercream in the middle was the same. I honestly couldn’t even finish my birthday cake for that reason. Massive shame.

We got our beautiful wedding cake from here, after receiving a cake sample box. It was very hard to choose from the samples - they were all delicious. The cake we did end up choosing went down so well with guests, so can't recommend highly enough.

Rachel made our wedding cake and it was absolutely delicious! We couldn't decide between all of the amazing flavours so in the end decided to get three different flavours and they tasted as incredible as they looked! I would definitely recommend!!

We chose Palms Bakery for our wedding cake as we wanted to support a local business, and we've both been obsessed with their cakes for so long. Rachel was incredible throughout our process. We were fortunate enough to bag one of the wedding tasting boxes some months prior to our wedding, which was such a lovely experience and we would really recommend doing so if you can. We settled on the carrot cake, although it was such a hard choice, with so many amazing flavours to pick from. We were so happy with our final cake, and it worked so well with our homemade cake plinth and arches, and tasted amazing!! We cannot recommend Palms enough and look forward to working with them again in future.

We chose The Palms Bakery for our wedding after a friend saw them on Instagram. We instantly fell in love and knew we needed their cake for our day! From start to finish Rachel designed the perfect cake and then kept in touch about colours, flavours and delivery. The end result was more than we could have hoped for. We definitely recommend and the whole thing was delicious!
