Poor communication but okay job repairing an iPad Pro (new model). I was told the display would need to be ordered and can take a few working days plus a couple working days for fitting… then we had poor communication. I got a message saying the screen part had arrived in store, drop off the device. I left the iPad for over a week and had no contact. I tried calling the store and got no answer. In store, if the phone rings, staff ignore the phone. I went in store to ask the progress and the staff said ‘the technician is ill, it should take a couple more days’… on this visit, I think I even saw the iPad part disassembled left on the side.. Anyhow, I left it a few more days then visited the store. I was asked to pay the final balance then given the repaired iPad. Again, no message to say it was ready. Communication is a joke. I did quiz the technician and was told these are ‘non OEM parts’. I did a battery drain test with the original Retina display (before the repair), the new screen seems to give slightly worse battery performance (not enough to care but definitely different). The repaired screen looks good (I don’t notice much/if any difference in colours…)
