New York Launderette & Dry Cleaners

We came from out of town and after a week of travels we needed to wash some clothes. I could have used the hotel services but one item of clothing would cost 5 pounds. We came here and quickly did 2 loads of laundry for under 20 pounds. That includes the detergent and fabric softener the ladies provided to us. We brought bills so they exchanged for coins. All you need to do is bring a bag of your dirty laundry and they have everything you need. It was perfect. The place is small so come early or there will be a wait. 2 small washers, 2 medium washers, 2 large washers, one extra large washer I imagine are for comforters. 5 dryers and baskets to transfer. Washers are 5 pounds. They do other services but we just needed a wash/dry. Very nice women.

We had to do laundry before heading back to the US and were absolutely dreading the prospect of dealing with user-unfriendly UK washers and dryers. This place made it easy! The proprietor was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He changed bills to coins, provided detergent powder and liquid, and even advised us on how many loads we needed--only one when we thought we had two. Highly recommended if you need a laundromat walkable from central Manchester!

We needed a place to wash our clothes while on vacation. We had spent a week in Manchester before setting off to Europe and wanted to wash clothes before flying. We took a 20 minute walk from our hotel mid day on a Friday and were able to complete a large load of clothes in about 90 minutes (washed and dried). The staff were VERY helpful and friendly. They had detergent to use and exchanged bills for coins for us to use in the machines. We were so glad to have found this place. It couldnt have worked out better! Several locals were there using the facility and many seemed like regulars. With the friendliness of the staff, I can see why. Pricing was very reasonable.

My son and I were on a European tour and needed to wash clothes as we had been traveling for quite some time. The staff were SUPER friendly and EXTREMELY helpful. I felt comfortable and safe. I would TOTALLY recommend this business for locals and out of towners. You won’t be disappointed.
