The Hip Hop Chip Shop

Hip Hop Chip Shop provided the main food for our tipi wedding in May. The whole process from start to finish was really easy and Ozzy was super helpful and catered for all of our dietary requirements! Ozzy and the team arrived on time and set up without a fuss and the food was incredible!!! They served all 100 guests within an hour and the queue for the food became a great part of the day as everyone mingled before getting their food! We had so many people say it was the best fish and chips they've had! We were so happy that we chose Hip Hop Chip Shop for our special day! Thank you so much again Ozzy and team - we can't wait to go to your restaurant and have some more soon!

Absolutely awesome place. Hip Hop junkies heaven. Full of Hip Hop memoribillia, great choice of beers/drinks and cant say enough how good the Fish N Chips are. Beautiful. Im from Bradford where Fish n Chips is award winning and it beat ours, my friend flew in from Texas and was blown away by the food. Cant wait to visit again and catch a DJ set or performance next time.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Indian fish and chips, quick service and a reasonable price. I did ask for a banana blossom on the side, but got a vegan fish instead. Which, wasn't what I wanted. But, was still nice for those vegans out there.

This was stop two on a (second) food tour I made up. We were there to sample the fish bites, which were stunning. I liked the quirky movie/retro video game atmosphere- or you can sit outside if the weather is nice. Hip Hop is one I’m definitely going to come back and order a full meal from!

Hands down one of the best chippy joints in Manchester! Fish is fresh and juicy every single time. Never a disappointment. Has become one of my go-to places when I crave for fish and chips. Excellent music too! Highly recommend!
