I can not thank S.Wellens enough for handling the funeral of my brother, not only was every detail exactly how we wanted it to be, us as a family was given the best possible care & kept informed and updated on everything that was being done.The care we was given not only on the day of the funeral, from the very moment we went through their door & after the funeral was exceptional. They definitely went above and beyond to take care of our whole family. Weare truly grateful for everything they did for us. THANK YOU X

We chose Wellens for my dads funeral because we had used them previously. They make everything very easy and straightforward, every time I contacted them they answered my questions very quickly (I was always amazed at how quickly they did this, even when I contacted them initially on a Sunday they were there and helpful). They are very empathetic, sensitive and clearly have a lot of experience. The arrangements themselves were of excellent quality and everyone commented on how well everything had gone. Would not hesitate to recommend them as as a family we appreciate their support at such a sad time

We used S. Wellens for my mother-in-law's funeral in May and were extremely satisfied with the service, so had no hesitation in using them again for my mother's funeral in September. Gill and Linda were very helpful and understanding throughout the whole process, as they were in May. A very professional and caring service.

Our Dad passed away in early January 22 after a battle with cancer. We knew we wanted to use S Wellens & Sons as the service they provided for our Mum some years ago was so caring and they really looked after her. The service is the same today. The service and costs were explained at the beginning. They communicated in a caring way that you felt they were part of the family. We were treated with dignity and respect. Thank you especially to Debra and her team for everything you did.

From the day my Dad passed away to the day of the funeral (11 days) the staff at Wellens were absolutely amazing. There was a funeral plan in place so i suppose things were a little easier. We were so worried about visiting Dad in the chapel but there was nothing to worry about, they did a marvelous job, we'd not seen him that peaceful in a long time. Thank you.
