Clayton Hotel Manchester City Centre

Decent level of service. the rooms were clean but a little compact. the room complimentary drinks were short on choice and no snacks. breakfast was nice.

The hotel is right in the middle of all the action of manchester. we were treated amazingly and our rooms were lovely (discovered the ice machine on our floor - it was one of the hottest days of the year!) we were well looked after at the bar and by the front desk. in the morning, we had an excellent breakfast and the staff were pleasant and helpful. i'll be booking again for when i have another night out!

Room was well decorated and clean, shower was quite modern, water pressure varied but was always pretty reasonable. staff were friendly and the bar area was quite nice. they could do with another lift, as they get quite busy at peak times, but that's not a novel issue for hotels. breakfast was really good

Great location, fab service. if i were to be overly critical i'd mention lack of bottled water in the room, which i'd expect, missing shower gel from the bathroom (which was delivered as soon as reported in the reception), lack of toilet brush in the toilet. other than that, the reception staff were very accommodating and changed my room as one allocated was interconnecting. even though, the hotel was fully booked, i was moved. thank you.

Excellent hotel in central manchester. i have stayed in many hotels in manchester and this one is going on my preferred list! staff were very accommodating and friendly from the off and were consistent throughout my stay from reception to dining staff. room was clean, modern, great temperature and quiet considering it's so central to all the action. one little bug was that the tv had an amazon prime button but as the wifi was ported through a vpn i couldn't use it on any device including the tv. bathroom was nicely laid out with plenty of towels, toiletries and was clean and modern. the restaurant had a good selection of dishes reasonably priced for the style of hotel and type of food served. i had the fish and chips which was lovely and a large plate of food! breakfast in the morning was excellent compared to other hotels of similar price; everything was delicious, nicely cooked and prepared. overall couldn't fault the hotel on its service and convenience. thank you.
