Great atmosphere and food. generous portions. reason for the 4 star review is that the cocktails were made to look like they were on a 2 for 1 offer however this is weekdays only - it wasn't made clear enough.
We went for their £15 lunch menu where you choose an item of each (four) section. we ordered: hummus bowl with merguez sausages, pitta bread with braised lamb shoulder, batata harra, spiced aubergine tagine and two drinks. food and drink came at reasonable time. decent portion and flavoursome. we enjoyed our meal and would recommend this £15 lunch menu. it's a standard city centre price but the quality is good. friendly and attentive staff too.
I remember walking past many times as they were fitting out the restaurant and i can’t believe it has taken me this long to visit. what a beautiful venue, really central within a short walk to lots of bars. the food is excellent with plenty to choose from. the staff are helpful and friendly and the drinks are great too. plenty great options to choose from with amazing flavours and although only tapas the portions are generous. we struggled to finish all our food. a really lovely place to visit when in manchester but make sure you book in advance as it does get rather busy.
Stopped in for an a late lunch, hostess/waitress was very welcoming and chatty. great ambience. we ordered 6 dishes from the 3 for £15 menu. delicious food, just wish i could have eaten more. definitely didn’t disappoint. will be returning of an evening and looking forward to trying the al a carte menu.
Food, service and atmosphere were all amazing! the drinks were stunning as well! we had the hummus, salmon arancini, lamb pomme anna and the sweet potato, everything was absolutely incredible! can’t wait to visit again 🫶🏻
