Matthew wasn't just the photographer for our wedding on Bonfire Night 2018, he's also one of our close friends! Prior to the wedding, we talked about which packages would be best for us and we made a list of any particular shots we really wanted on the day. Matthew arrived early on the day so we could double check the list and also calm our nerves! 😅 During the day, we didn't even notice the camera going off! It was super relaxed and he easily got groups together to do group photographs when needed. Our photos were ready so much earlier than we expected and we can't believe how many beautiful photos Matthew has given us! We received the digital copies of our photos on a (beautifully presented!) wooden USB in a box. Our family and friends have given us so much positive feedback and compliments on our photographs, and also commenting on how friendly and approachable Matthew was. Matthew managed to capture our laughter, tears and love on the day and I'm so thankful we will always have these wonderful photographs to remember our special day. Great guy - very professional and enjoyable to work with. Matt listened to what we wanted and he was flexible with his packages which is what we liked about him. He was also happy to travel. We booked Matthew Savage for our wedding in February and we honestly can't rate him highly enough. From start to finish, Matt was absolutely fantastic! Prior to the wedding, he was in touch with us to discuss potential shots and we had a pre-wedding shoot at a location of our choice. The pre-wedding pictures were brill; they enabled us to talk through styles of photograph for the day and made us even more excited for the big day. A few weeks before the wedding, we met with Matt to discuss all the shots we wanted and went through any ideas we had and he took it all on board. Prior to the day, we had only asked for a handful of 'set' shots with family and friends however it turned out people wanted to have more pictures with us than we'd anticipated and Matt was really flexible with this and took all requests on board. We asked for more candid and subtle shots of people enjoying the day and throughout the day, we barely even noticed his presence as he just blended in and got pictures which captures the happiness of the day. On the day, Matt also moved seamlessly between bridal suite, the entrance of the venue and between groups of people to capture the build up on the day for both Megan and also myself and the arrival with the groomsmen. Very shortly after the wedding he sent us a 'sneak preview' shot from the wedding and we are so excited to see the rest. We're really also impressed with what is included in the package, with all digital shots provided on a USB drive within a presentation box, a small selection of prints and even a short video with shots to a song of our choice. Not only is he professional, but he's a really nice guy and he was a pleasure to be with. He was so accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process and would highly recommend him if you're looking for a wedding photographer.

Having known Matthew for many years (and his brother being our best man!), it only made sense to hire him as our photographer! His previous work alone made him an easy choice, and he didn't disappoint at all! The photos are amazing, and considering it was mainly overcast, the contrast between our colourful wedding and the grey clouds made for some great shots! He's a complete professional who was very accommodating to our crazy ideas, and an all-round nice guy! 100% recommend!

I found matt online whilst looking for photographers for mine and my husbands wedding day and when I saw his pictures I fell in love with how they looked. I had experienced a few issues with different photographers and people not replying to me and when I contacted matt he was prompt and professional. His packages are reasonable and affordable, and for this reason we immediately booked with him after doing a little research. From day one matt has responded to queries very quickly and put my mind at ease, he arranged a video call to speak to us before the wedding to sort what pictures we really wanted and then discussed the layout of the day. On the day itself matt was out of this world, he was a good communicator, he specialises in natural pictures and captures moments of the day and captured the joy and love of our entire party. He also arranged group pictures very well and I am so happy with the results, the colours of the pictures and what we have are ones to treasure forever. Matt really got moments in the day that I would of missed I would highly recommend Matthew for weddings and events, we were so lucky to have found the perfect photographer.
