Amazing pizza, awful service and staff. lady on the door was unhelpful, asked for a table for 3 and she said it was 45 minutes. came back 2 minutes later and she said she couldn’t do it anymore because she was moody and “situations change”. i got a table for 1 and there were plenty of tables for 3 or 4 all around me within 20 minutes. i then had to wait 10 minutes to be served, they forgot my dips, didn’t ask how my food was, had to go to the counter to get the bill. even then he just typed the numbers in and didn’t say anything when i tapped to pay. all very unwelcoming. two gentlemen next to me at the bar pizza table had asked for a beer at the end of their meal, they gave up when it didn’t arrive and asked for the bill. one was stood up for 5 minutes trying to get attention. they left unhappy. go to the one in didsbury if you want good service, i hosted a dinner for 22 people there on a saturday night and the service was brilliant. also 2 dips for £3 would be better as well or 3 for £4.
Was walking by peter st, and saw this branch was super crowded with customers, so i had to pop in and try what was the hype about😤 overall, the pizza was pretty good. the cheese was delicious and the salami was salty and savoury. i mean, not the most mind-blowing pizza i had...it was just a good pizza. i constantly added chilli peppers, black pepper, and chilli oil to suit it to my liking, but otherwise, i don't think i would enjoy it as much without them. 6.5/10 for the pizza. meanwhile, the tiramisu was amazing. the dessert was done so well, and i was close to ordering a second one. the whipped cream was soft and silky. and the shortbread was soaked well in coffee and alcohol. 10/10 would recommend! the atmosphere was nice in there with minimal design and decor. you can even see how they make the pizza in the restaurant. the servers were also super friendly and ready to help anytime. although the pizza was meh, everything else was a vibe!
Absolutely fantastic meal at rudy's peter street. visited 22nd june, thursday night, and it was busy, very busy. glad we booked in advance as there were 9 of us staying in manchester after a business meeting. the staff were really fast, friendly, helpful and well organised. food was outstanding, absolutely delicious! personally, i had the romagnola pizza (which you can see in my photo) and i paid the extra for a while burrata on top. best pizza i've ever eaten. finished with a tiramasu which was light, creamy and tasty. all round a great night in a great restaurant.
Popped in here after a recommendation. we booked a table and we arrived slightly early but our table was ready. our server was soon over to offer some drinks and we ordered a couple of poretti beers. i asked the server for recommendations on the pizza and she didn't disappoint. we ordered the carni and cinghiale pizzas and omg they looked amazing. cooked fresh in a huge clay oven to order behind the prep area. doubtful we'd be able to finish a whole pizza each we made a start. not longer after during sips of cold beer and conversation we finished our pizzas. absolutely delicious. we ordered one more beer and was given some complimentary olives. overall, service, food and atmosphere was excellent. would definitely recommend a visit.
I went with my work colleagues today for lunch. we had a big table of 10. the staff were very friendly and polite. the pizza is too big (please consider implementing different size options!!) but delicious enough. we had a good time. comment: 2 female toilets out of 3 were out of order, not great.
