Nice place, clean!

Enjoyed the start of the Gobe Festival this weekend, lovely

Hard to review a patch of grass next to the footie museum...but it held the food festival today. Lots of interesting stalls from Eritrean to Brazil etc. Two real ale bars. Had a good time. OK prices. Deposits on plastic pint pots but not plastic wine glasses. A few years ago the SS litter patrol fined a friends daughter for..taking a selfie! ...They stood up to take the pic and left their Coke can unattended for 30 secs.

Lovely area just to chill and relax with a Starbucks bought round the corner. Plenty of atmosphere, a children's playground and the ability to be in the sun or in the shade.

Lovely place to be when you need to take a break from shopping in the town. Take your food and drinks with you and relax. Nice water feature around one half of the gardens, play facilities for children, with the Football Museum 30 seconds away.
