Chapel Street Community Primary School

Chapel Street Primary School is an exceptional school with exceptionally dedicated staff. Children are very welcoming and very ambitious. I had great pleasure to work with the staff to help them create a curriculum that matters. During my time at the school I had the opportunity to see the great improvements children had made in their learning. Year 6 children working on the circulatory system were fired up by what they had learned with one boy going on to research the part the brain plays in ensuring the heart remains healthy. Younger children studying the digestive system were fascinated to learn about what happens to their food. The way the staff support this enquiry based learning is a joy to observe. This is a school that is going places, ensuring that children are not just learning but that they are improving their long-term memory. In other words, they are very much into making a difference through improving the knowledge the children will take with them for the rest of their lives.

Chapel Street is a wonderful school. The team are always striving to create the most engaging, stimulating and supportive environment possible suited to the needs of their pupils. The school is going from strength to strength through all their hard work. I am very proud to work alongside them.

Love chapel street school it as done so much for the pupils that attend there, teachers really do there ultimate best to help pupils who have any problems whether it be (personal, emotional,or behaviour) teachers and staff come and go. I have seen children come and go who have achieved great professions from being at chapel street, at the end of the day it’s all down to the children who really want to learn, the teachings today so very different from my day well done to all who work at chapel street school. You do an amazing job.

What a wonderful school, from the moment you enter the building it is very friendly, filled with happy children and very professional staff. The school choir recently gave up their time to perform in a charity concert in aid of the Wellspring at the Plaza in Stockport. The children were extremely well behaved, their performance was fabulous and it was a great pleasure to have them in our concert. I have been so impressed with this school and the amazing children and their deputy head / choirmaster is truly inspirational.
