Overall it was quite nice and a different taste to the usual, and different style. the inside is okay, not very comfortable seating and we did have to ask for multiple items which were forgotten, but it happens. the seafood soup was my favourite, and the prawns were large and tasted good, as did the sauces. crab was okay - more difficult than usual to break. may be better to take away instead of making a mess in a restaurant!! thanks
The prawns were delicious! we ordered the £42 for 50 prawns. you get exactly 50 as we counted. definitely enough for 2 or even 3 people as you get some rice or chips with it plus a trio of sauces. please remember this is a strictly halal restaurant, and they do not serve any alcohol. so don't complain there's no alcohol in your cocktail.
The food was amazing. seafood is usually expensive but we got good value for money. the prawns and calamari were very fresh and tasty. the sides of rice and chips were also very good. the sauces pairs perfectly well with the meal. customers peel the prawn themselves but they supply gloves and a clean bucket for the waste. the staff were quite warm and smart. this restaurant only sells non alcoholic drinks, we had frozen strawberry daquiiri and virgin pina colada, both drinks tasted really great. they also do not offer tap water, they sell packaged bottle water. they gave us lemon slices and ice for water on request. the interior design is quite nice but not upscale, it is however comfortable. i wish they are in my city sheffield. i'll always patronise anytime i'm in leicester or manchester, those are their 2 locations in uk.
Very good food especially for the person like myself who is seafood lover. we went there with 6 people and ordered prawns, lobster, crab etc, so we tried nearly everything on menu. i have to say food wise nothing let us down and prawns just amazing. however we believe there is some space to improve for service. first of all, we asked to have hot or warm water for one of our friend because she was going to take medicine but the waiter said they don’t have hot or warm water. i was wonder how possibly a restaurant hasn’t got a kettle. ( we ordered six drinks) secondly waiter and waitress didn’t look at customers while they are talking to each other we find occasionally we can’t get their attention so we have to wait until someone look at us. but don’t get me wrong they do have enough numbers of staff just they don’t pay attention to customers very often. thirdly, they don’t have baby changing facility so it’s not very convenient for family with baby. finally when we finished dinner and ready to pay the bill, the waiter asked us if we wish to pay tips because it’s not included in the bill. i honestly told them there is service they need improve and explained how i think they should pay a bit more attention etc. the waiter replied me: i don’t think so, but it’s your choice. to be honest this response really make me feel horrible.
Amazing seafood restaurant that i would go to more often if i lived in manchester. me and my wife eat here every time we visit the city and are never disappointed. the quality of the food is amazing and it is very reasonably priced this is hands down the nicest meal i have ever had and i've eaten in a lot of places. the staff are wonderful and very polite and the toilets are very clean. the only thing that's not even worth mentioning is the background music is sometimes rather loud, which is always turned down if you ask.
