The Brogue Trader T/A Loake Shoemakers Manchester

Both assistants were incredibly good but matthew was exceptional. he went above and beyond to track an item we wanted to buy that was unavailable in his store. he was truly a marvellous example of why shopping in store is better than online. his customer service was exemplary.

I went in to buy shoes for my wedding. they let me change into my suit trousers and i tried on multiple different sizes. they are very knowledgeable about the shoes and have a great sense of humor too. really great experience. you really need to try these kind of shoes on. i couldn't recommend them more highly. great shoes, nice people, and service.

5 star from start to finish.if i could give more stars i would. matthew was outstanding and helped me get the correct size. i would have been a half size too much if i’d had gone with my normal sizing. he explained the ins and outs of the shoes and what to expect and they fitted me perfectly. the shoes are spot on. so good to have a retail experience where the staff are enthusiastic, expert and clearly love the products and the brand. thanks again matthew for all your help. i bought two pairs and am looking forward to enjoying them over many years. i’ll be back soon for some more too!! thanks again jim

A great experience. this was my first time going to a "classier" shoe store and the man who helped me made me feel very comfortable, and gave me lots of information about shoes and my feet that i had never heard before. i learned a lot. the shoes he gave me to try felt so snug without being uncomfortable, they were like wearing gloves made of leather! unfortunately this being a big purchase for me, i told them i had to go away and think about it and maybe try some other shoe stores before i committed. they were understanding of this fact and even willing to let me know some other shoe stores i could try. great customer service!

Went in looking for some shoes and instantly greeted and welcomed by the staff who pointed out things to look at. found a pair of boots i liked and the gentleman (chris) there was friendly and accomodating and spent time finding the perfect size for me, he didn't feel in a rush, he was calm and genuinely looking to help me the best he could. without a doubt one of the best stores i've ever been in, 10/10 service, worth having a look around and definitely if you are after high quality shoes then this is the place to go.
