Did not enjoy the food much but found the service friendly and welcoming. i ordered a pad thai and unfortunately was disappointed with the dish as it was overly sweet and the chicken had a strange aftertaste. it was my first meal in manchester and was really expecting something more authentic tasting.
Overall the staff was very friendly and it was a clean spot. i’ve not had a lot of luck finding good thai food in the uk. the dis was very greasy and sweet and it looked like some of the vegetables weren’t fresh today maybe prepped yesterday as they weren’t crisp. also one of the noodles was undercooked but the rest were good. for uk thai food this is fine but not what i’m use to in the usa in terms of freshness and taste.
Thai style fried fish cake is recommended, it taste really nice. however, some spices may be omitted because of the need to accommodate the tastes of the local people. after adding spicy green papaya salad, it is very close to the taste of thailand.
I went here with my friend today, we received a very warm welcome from our waitress katie who was great the whole time we were there. we ordered yen ta fo noodles, pork noodles, glass noodles salad and fried tofu, and i have to say the chefs were amazing because everything had a genuine thai taste (i am thai) and was really delicious, i will definitely return here again to try everything else on the menu !
