Northern Rye

Nice shop, they make loads of different pastries, bread and sandwiches. I had an almond croissant and a coffee, the croissant wasn't really what i was expecting, it felt more like eating a biscuit but i still enjoyed it, the coffee was nice. The sandwich looked unreal, im definitely gonna try one next time.

The only reason I'm not there daily is because I would probably eat myself to death. The best pastries in town, the most amazing cheese and kimchi grilled sandwich. RECOMMEND!!!!! if there is one place you go to in Newcastle it should be this. I still dream of their mushroom, hazelnut and truffle oil danish. And the last time I went there they happened to have the most mind blowing bread pudding the world has ever seen.

This place is incredible, we came here for lunch yesterday and got two very decent sized sandwiches, an almond croissant and two coffees very reasonably priced for what you get! I can see why it has 4.9/5!!!! The bakery has a very rustic homely passionate feel to it which a lot of bakeries unfortunately lack. 100% recommended. If you’re looking for a bakery that feels homemade and made with love then this is the place!

The perfect croissant, crispy on the outside and layered on the inside. Sourdough bread is perfect.everything is perfect
