Start Cycles

Used the online site to buy an e-bike. I had to use customer service as I thought the light was faulty but it turned out I was doing it all wrong and the issue was quickly remedied without fuss. Excellent, responsive customer service via email and very happy with bike. I have learned they do a free 8 week service too to make sure that everything is working as it should. Recommend.

Great shop for reasonable priced sports wear away from the main chains Always bargains and discount’s to be had. Great selection of bicycles focusing on road and off road. Friendly service and advice from the staff I think it even has a coffee shop but I haven’t tried it……. Yet!

I’ve been using Start for more than ten years they’ve always been incredibly helpful and reasonable when dealing with any issues. The mechanics know their stuff and Paul is always happy to help sort something out when buying.

Good choice of bikes of all types road, Mtb and electric bikes. Sales assistant didn't seem to know much about them though & wasn't particularly helpful if I'm honest. So do your own research before visiting. And from outside the store, you'd be mistaken into thinking it was like TK Max inside, with wheeled suitcases in the window display rather than cycles or sports equipment.
