Not going to lie, it was extremely difficult to find the cafe. went through a few streets that google maps said, but hard to find. once we got there it was quite obvious if you went from another side, which is a fault of our own due to not going to newcastle often. i had a nitro cold brew, as i've looked everywhere in the north east for a cafe that sold it, and it was amazing. i came with my grandad and he got a mocha and loved that too. i was a bit thrown off originally, there was someone who booked us for seats like a restaurant, which took me by surprise. i did originally only come for some coffee and thought it was a takeout kinda cafe. the atmosphere was amazing. absolutely amazing. all of the preparation areas were open so you could see baristas and chefs preparing the drinks and food, as well as it just being a beautiful cafe.
I know this places as flatcaps but is now called tiny tiny which it's very cute name. the food is incredible and coffee is 😍! i think they change the service style where you pay at the table but i really like going to the till to pay as you get to see their cake goodies and other things they have.
Very cute and niche place. love their interior design and the vibe. only have ordered tea here and it was authentic. don’t know how the food is, may order food some next time and come back to give more detailed reviews.
This was the best breakfast i can remember having in a cafe. creative, tasty, and fresh. free range eggs, gorgeous, rustic flat bread and beautiful presentation. would definitely recommend for veggies. try the turkish eggs and huevos rancheros. the staff are lovely too. really upbeat and friendly.
