Only gave a 3 stars as i’m not sure how authentic the food is. order wanton noodle and yin yang (a mix of coffee and tea hong kong style). the drink is ok. the wanton in the main is pretty good but the broth was tasteless. quite disappointed to be honest.
Was ok. pork was fatty and greasy. could be better, noodles was nice like. x
I've visited wing kee a few times now and every visit has been great. the food is simple but tasty, portion sizes are plentiful and the price point is affordable (cheaper than a lot of restaurants around newcastle). my only slight niggle about the menu is the lack of vegetarian options. the service and atmosphere are average - the decor is very simple, though the bts posters scattered around are fabulous! i will visit again in future 😊
Had a wonderful late night last minute meal here when almost everywhere else on stowell street (chinatown) was closing. the roast meats particularly the chicken which comes with the garlic sauce is delicious. generous portions and reasonable prices service was great here too can recommend
