Clean As A Gem - House Cleaning Newcastle Upon Tyne, One-off Oven & Deep Cleans

Regularly use Clean as a Gem for my regular house clean. The ladies who attend are courteous, hard working & diligent. They are also incredibly swift & never fail to amaze me at their speed in getting my house cleaned. Thoroughly recommend this company.

We originally just booked Gemma for a one-off clean for our house before we moved in, but were so impressed by the quality of the job that we have had weekly cleans with her ever since! Gemma and her team are friendly, reliable and punctual. We especially appreciate their personal finishing touches. I would highly recommend them.

Gemma pulled through for us last minute when our new home clean company (aegis) bailed on the day. The twosome were really friendly and helpful and worked solidly for 5hrs from 12-5 and tacked everything in the home top to bottom, including windows walls ceilings and under beds. The standard of the clean was very good. The oven was brought back to like new! Thoughts for room for improvements: they did ask me to inspect all areas and there were quite a few omissions from the clean they had done. They were immediate rectified with apologies but if they were my regular cleaners Im sure they’d improve on assessing their own work for uncleared areas. Their regular clean price is £13/cleaner-hour. I paid £385 for 10 cleaner-hours, which is nearly triple their usual rate. I understand it was last minute, but I can’t help feel a little aggrieved.

I’m a remote landlord and contacted clean as a gem to clean my apartment which had been left in quite a state by the previous tenant. Not only did they leave the place immaculate they also helped clear all the junk my tenant left behind. Can’t rate them highly enough. Polite, professional and great at what they do. I commented it was like a cleaning miracle had happened. Just great and will use them again without hesitation. They clearly take pride in what they do.
