We received a 10/10 service from Samuel Phillips - Could not recommend them enough. Tom was great throughout the process and guided us through all of the conveyancing aspects of purchasing our house. Tom made everything easy for us and was very fast at responding to any queries we had which was very much appreciated. I will definitely be getting in touch with them, and Tom in particular, for any legal advice / conveyancing I require in the future.

We used Samuel Phillips for the conveyancing of our house, and communication was below what we expected. After a few weeks without any email, I called them for them to tell me they didn't receive anything. The contact email address provided on the quote was apparently the head of department address and we should've sent documents to another one (that we had to guess ourselves?). After a bumpy start, I have to say it was pretty efficient (hence why 3 stars and not 1), but still had to call to get any emails or any updates. It's a real shame the house sale fell through: they were getting faster and faster, and better at sending emails. So efficient indeed that we received the (not so cheap for what was done) bill in exactly 7 minutes! I wouldn't recommend if you are unfamiliar with the process of buying a house or if you don't have time to call them to get things moving; but I can't honestly say they were useless either.
