Chez Mal Brasserie & Bar

Absolutely gorgeous food. First time we've ate in the resteraunt but not our first stay in the Malmaison. We've a weekend booked at the hotel this weekend and our table is booked already :) Highly recommend.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Chez. The food was entirely enjoyable, the service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere pleasant amidst a boutique styled restaurant.

Try the valentine’s special dishes with cocktails and lobster. The portions are generous and the meat is very fresh and tender. Especially the seafood is delicate and juicy. The sauce of shrimp and scallops for the starter is more Mexican, a little spicy and salty but not overpowering. The truffle fries are crunchy, without the truffle bits on the top but the truffle flavour incorporated into the fries. Dessert is toffee Creme pudding, which is a bit sweet but goes well with ice cream. A very filling and satisfying dinner. The waiters are very friendly and patience.
