Helping Hands Home Care Newcastle

I've herd a lot about Helping hands..and since I'm a Public health student I really would love to work in such amazingly humble environment!! I hope I can work with you guys, I see a branch near my home on Chillingham road. I've heard a lot about the facility.

I used helping hands for my mum who was suffering from lewy body dementia. The service was excellent from being set up to when mum no longer needed the service. The carers were skilled and very kind. I paid for an hours care in the morning and evening and that is exactly what we got. I was given a schedule so I knew exactly when the carers would be arriving and leaving. I would highly recommend Helping Hands

We started using Helping Hands a couple of months ago to assist my mother in law who has Alzheimers. She was finding day to day living a bit of a struggle, especially with administration of medication & it was worrying for us too. I honestly don't know how we managed before Helping Hands came along. We have a core group of 4-5 ladies who are all wonderful. It's obvious that they really do genuinely care about their clients, & the service they provide. Mum in law looks forward to their three times a day visits & talks fondly of them all. They give her medication, make sure she is fed, watered & well, & when the weather is nice, they take her for a walk. Even just the chatting over a cup of tea is invaluable to her. The management are fantastic. Nothing is too much bother for them, & they are flexible and obliging when we have had to make changes to the schedule due to hospital appointments etc. I highly recommend Helping Hands. They truly have given my mum in law a new lease of life & given us peace of mind regarding her welfare, something you can't put a price on.

I have only been working for Helping Hands since February and I can honestly say that they are brilliant. They are very supportive and caring towards their clients and staff. Right from the beginning I have felt part of the Helping Hands team. My management staff are excellent Elaine and Nicola, they are very supportive and caring and would help you in any situation whether it be work or home. I am so pleased that I am able to work with such a brilliant team. So if you are thinking about joining us please do, you wont regret it.
