Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School Newcastle

Such an amazing nursery! Would recommend them very highly: Lovely friendly staff who can’t do enough to help you… There’s such a great atmosphere you can see why the same staff have stayed there years and years Delicious healthy food for the children each day :-) Always different and interesting toys and activities planned… probably why they got an OFSTED outstanding assessment! I also think it’s really helpful that they’re open longer hours than most nurseries: 7am-630pm My twin boys go there and they’ve always loved it… in fact even if we walk past on a non-nursery day they’re pointing at the door wanting to go in!

My child has been attending since she's been 5 month old (she is now 2 years old) and I could not be happier. They follow her development closely, assess and adapt activities to her interests and level of development. Food is excellent, staff is kind and caring, they have a garden, lots of books and promote toys made from natural materials.

We have had children attending the nursery since 2017 and would recommend them to anyone, they are such a fantastic nursery. The care and attention the children get from the key workers is second to none and I'm really surprised that an older review referred to the staff not knowing what a child had eaten etc as all these details are logged and shared with you instantly via a special app along with other important information like time spent sleeping, nappy changes and some photos of their activities during the day. I have far more visibility over what my children have been doing at nursery than any of my friends with kids in private or school nurseries. The staff are so attentive and aware of the individual needs of the children too, as evidenced in the activities they do with them and the assessments they write up. The facilities and attention to detail are fantastic and I have always been particularly impressed with the food. One of our children had a food allergy when they started nursery and it was no problem whatsoever at Co-op childcare and they were always offered a safe alternative and ate their meals in a setting which meant they couldn't access unsafe food easily. I really do think this is an outstanding nursery and will be so sad when my eldest child leaves to go to school, let alone the youngest!

The staff at the Little Pioneers Nursery & Preschool in Newcastle have been absolutely amazing with our little one. They have been incredibly attentive to her development and are always keen to support in all the ways they can. My little one is truly sad when she learns she isn't going to nursery on a weekend !

Little Pioneers is an excellent nursery. My son was very scared of starting nursery and after being through Covid was not used to people. Little Pioneers put real care and support in, helping him enjoy nursery a little more every day, setting limits but being loving and supportive to him too. I love that every member of staff will walk past him and say ‘Hello Bo!’ I’m so pleased my boy goes here and it’s super handy for anyone who works n Newcastle like me.
