Armstrong Park

I've walked Rhubarb here almost every day for 4 years, I love it. It's one of the finest parks in the country.

Nice place but it’s smaller than Jesmond dane park

Quite an interesting place. People tend to think of Heaton Park and Jesmond Dene and omit Armstrong Park, which would be a mistake. Very enjoyable to walk through and full of interesting surprises.

A lovely, peaceful place that is ideal for a short walk with good parking facilities. For a longer walk just walk on to Jesmond dene, to the waterfall and then up to paddy Freeman's and then back again via one of the many different routes. For all group ages and everyone.
