The Gait Clinic

The gait clinic podiatry support allowed me to run pain free for the first time in over 10 years. i'm finally running regularly again! very much recommended.

I had a physio session with carl as i had a problem with my knee. he was very thorough and professional. i was very impressed with his service. he diagnosed the problem and was able to give me some very good advice. my knee improved immensely following the session and i am following his advice on exercises and management techniques to help it heal completely. thank you carl, i really appreciate your help.

I booked an appointment with david , following a recommendation, to investigate pain in my feet. helen couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming, putting me at my ease straight away. david’s expert knowledge identified links to my knee and an individual treatment plan was formulated. temporary foot supports gave immediate relief and i felt like i was walking on air for the first time in months! what impressed me was the care, expert knowledge and determination to identify, accurately, the source and cause of pain, (including the electronic walking plates) and to find a way to relieve / manage it better in the future. i felt it was a thorough, individually tailored service, delivered with reassurance. i can’t praise team highly enough!

After 30 years of competitive running, i had a string of injuries, fed up of trying to make come back after come back, i was on the verge of retiring from running. this is when i saw david. david gave me a thorough examination. throughout the examination david explained what he was doing and what he could see. he had me on treadmills, videoed me running, running on pressure pads and sensors in my footwear. i’ve had gait analysis done many times and been to lots of different therapists, david is one of the very best. he is highly skilled, very professional and caring. you can tell that he is always working to the highest standard. 10 years on, i’m a lot older, getting slower but still wearing my orthotics and still going well (for my age). years ago i used to measure success by time, pb’s and wins, these days i measure success by enjoyment and consistency. i run most days and usually with a smile on my face. i can’t recommend david highly enough.

I first heard about the gait clinic when i went into start fitness. josh was so helpful and spent so much time helping me find the right running shoes and he referred me onto the gait clinic. when i first met david i was totally blown away. he was so knowledgable and made me feel at ease straight away. i felt confident that the issue i had been struggling with for months (it band syndrome and then a hamstring injury) would get sorted. i’m a very happy customer using my new insoles and am back to running pain free. i can’t thank david enough and would recommend him to anyone who is suffering from a sports injury.
