Contacted K L ROOFING in desperation as had identified that a tile slipped out of position on sons roof. Had already been knocked back by several companies so was extremely happy when K L ROOFING said could do the repair - they were a godsend, can't thank them enough and have no hesitation in recommending them

Had a couple of tiles off in the storms and a roof verge that needed some repointing. I must of tried well over 20 roofers, ranging from Newcastle to Durham to try and get someone to come out. Most of the roofers I spoke to had no interest (understandable, given current workloads, I imagine), a few offered quotes, asked for photos, or said they would come out to have a look, only for me to never hear from them again, with any attempts at further communication from me ignored. Unlike everyone else I tried, KL Smith actually answer the phone, or call you back. Got the job quoted and arranged very quickly. There were a couple of occasions when things couldn't happen at the time initially planned, but you have to expect that with roofing. The initial visit, and most of the work, was all done without me being there so timings weren't a huge inconvenience anyway. Crossed wires about one aspect of the job but they were back to sort it straight away. Work done very quickly at a really good price. Also when I did get them back to refix an additional tile they hadn't thought was part of the job and I asked how much on top of the original quote, they didn't charge any extra. I mean it was a small job but still, they could have legitimately charged extra for that and didn't. I think that sort of thing is a good sign with any business and gives me confidence to use KL Smith again if I ever need a bigger job doing. Regarding quality of the work, if I was enough of an expert to properly judge that I'd of been up there myself replacing the tiles instead of getting someone else to do it. All I can say is that I no longer have multiple loose tiles on my roof, and the repointing work looks solid to me.

I rang up with a leaking roof, couple of hours later they were here to have a look and within 24 hours the roof was fixed! Job well done at a good price.

Contacted the team at KL Smith Roofing late on a bank holiday Monday, to fix a faulty gutter. They called me back immediately, arranged to come out the following morning. True to their word they were around first thing, polite, efficient job complete ✅. Very happy, would definitely recommend.
