Bar + Block Steakhouse Newcastle

Food was average, starters were decent (however it was garlic bread, I'd be worried if they messed up Garlic bread) - other half had Bruschetta which again was nice. The mains on the other hand were below average. The burger was okay, however it tasted really gritty which I reckon was down to it being overcooked (we heard another couple commenting so it seems to be a common theme) - similarly my partners chicken was chargrilled. I'm all for well cooked but I had to smother it in ketchup just to get it down. Put us off dessert and to be honest, we probably wouldn't go back.

Omg just had the most delicious meal ever ! Dino ribs 😋 😍 ♥️ 💕 Melt in the mouth meat 🍖 Service was great too. Much better than expected and well worth the price. My compliments to the chef !

Popped in as we seen it was 2 for 1 cocktails. We decided to get 4 small plates to soak up some of the alcohol. These were tasty however I don't think it was worth £20 for 4 plates. The cocktails however were amazing. Good amount of alcohol and loads of flavour. It would be nice to go back for a meal as it looked great.

After a tiring day out, decided to grab some “good” or decent food to fill the tummy, hence the visit to this place 🤩 Went in, was slightly confused due to the layout of the bar & the restaurant, but we were ushered by one of the friendly bartender. Steak was perfectly cooked as per my request. A little bit pinkish - rare, but no biggie. Chicken wings is just ok. Expected it to be the real “korean” crunchy & crispy chicken since there’s none of it here yet in NCL 😔

We visited as part of our stay at Premier Inn, and paid for as a meal deal. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was also great. The food arrived quickly, albeit was a bit quiet in the restaurant that evening.
