Saray Turkish Grill House

Second time here just as nice as the first , went for my daughter's 10th birthday met by a nice friendly fella showed us to our seats . Took out order and didn't wait to long for our food which we all enjoyed. 1 of my sins got the lamb shanks and said it was a bit to fatty but ate what he could. They brought my daughter a mocktail which was very nice of them. All staff were nice no complaints at all good team work .

We had a great time in the Saray on very busy evening. The staff were friendly and attentive. The only issue was the starters. To be honest we didn't want one, but the owner advised there would be a long wait so we ordered 3 dips with bread. Unfortunately the mains then turned up before we had finished these. The mains are quite substantial so you don't really need a starter anyway. The food was well cooked and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

We were a party of four, as we arrived the place was busy, recommend booking, lively, enjoyable atmosphere. Our group ordered the hot and cold starter platters, and the meat platter from the main menu. We got the food arriving as it was ready. Delicious and plenty for the four of us. Beetroot dip was a major tasty hit. Staff were great fun and efficient. Great place to eat, will eat here again when we return.

I was taken to this restaurant for my birthday as a treat and I was pleasantly surprised. This is the best Turkish Grill house I have ever been to. As a group of six we had a fairly varied selection of food and it was all delicious, hot and flavourful. The service was great, servers were readily available, friendly and checked on how we were doing. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. If I was to fault anything, it's the number of prawns you get in the King Prawn starter but most restaurants are a bit stingy with their King Prawns. Anyway highly recommend this place

Came here for the first time. Pros - The restaurant decor is lovely, classy and modern. Also on a street with lots of decent pubs. Menu is typical Turkish grill food cooked well. Food came out piping hot and very delicious. Good size potions too. Bit of a delay on the drinks though. The food is a little pricey as are the drinks but if you want a spicy treat, give it a try. Cons - was not so impressed with the 10% service charge, ours was £30 so didn’t leave an extra tip. There is no parking. It’s a residential area with permit parking only. However this not so on Sunday evenings so maybe a good time to visit. My one main criticism were the ladies toilets were not clean and smelled disgusting like rotten eggs. There are only two loos in there and the left hand loo had dried sick on the wall tiles. Didn’t look like they had been given a good clean in quite a while.
