East Usk Lighthouse

The area around is exceptionally beautiful. Climbing the cliff was adventurous and unlocked new areas that you only see in video games like prince of persia. Truly beautiful place. A definite visit for a relaxing or adventurous time. Definite recommend. Parking space is available and its free.

Recommended to visit on winter sunsets for stunning views, but interesting at any time. Access is from Newport Wetlands bird reserve, about 20 mins walk from the carpark there. You cannot go inside as it is very small, more of a light beacon I suppose.

Found along the dog-friendly walking route. We like to stop here midway through our walk for a drink and some treats.
