Maclaurin Art Gallery

What an expected quality gallery and cafe. Loved the guadie exhibition (I recommend people watch the video by his son first, brings it even more to life) 50 years of Glasgow print studio and the PAI exhibition. It was quite a hike from train station but we easily got a bus back.

Nice building with a good selection of spaces with some interesting exhibits. Lovely grounds with easy parking and a good cafe. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

A lovely venue for exhibitions, bright, airy and accessible. The Tam O'Shanter museum is also a must see for Robbie Burns fans. Do take time though to stop for a coffee or some lunch in the coffee shop.
