Food was really good, quality spot on, staff friendly and professional, little expensive on the drinks, the specials menu good value.

The pastry on the meat pie was so hard couldn't even cut it , meat itself was nice. Fruit crumble was again very solid and not crumbling at all. Staff attentive and service good. Meal a bit expensive for what it was.

This place has a lovely atmosphere and lots of history, and it really feels like an old and traditional pub. The service was okay, quite a lit if waiting for drinks and for our order to be taken. It felt like they were understaffed. The …
