St George's, Cullercoats
Beautiful church occupying one of the most scenic views in Britain. A 19th century exterior, but the inside has been made to look much older. My grandparents were married here in 1923 and my husband and I renewed our vows here for our 20th anniversary.
In all the times that I have been to the coast, I have never noticed how beautiful this church is. Such a prominent landmark of the coast. Look forward to seeing what the inside of this church is like.
Lovely church built during the 19th Century in French Gothic style. It has an impressive 180 foot spire which served as a beacon and navigational aid for ships in times gone by. …
