Whitley Bay Golf Club

Played Whitley Bay yesterday for the first time and was very impressed, greens and fairways were very well maintained. Will hopefully play there again real soon....fingers crossed not so windy.

Absolutely loved the track, it is one of the best in the North East. Shame the hollow tining spoilt the occasion. I would certainly play here again but I would choose the time as usually the greens are excellent. The clubhouse and welcome was cracking with a good selection beers to enjoy. If you get the chance play here....

The Lunch menu at the WBay golf club offers the usual "bistro" menu items, burgers, sandwiches, all day breakfast etc... the food was tasty and service was good. The views were a bit disappointing, but the overall experience was a pleasant one.
