South Shields Lighthouse

A great place to visit, a lovely view of the beach once you reach the end, quite a hike! We even saw some dolphins in the water on the way down, a lot of fun overall!

Nice walk and view, you can wait for the perfect wave while walking and get a fresh water splash when the waves break on the rocks . The light house is perfect one situated at the end of the water breaker

Wonderful grade 2 listed pier and lighthouse. Great experience to walk out so far into the sea. A bit slippery in some parts but what do you expect from a structure constantly battered by the North Sea.
