Wellingborough Golf Club

Went for lunch with a friend who is a member. A good mix of meals available at a competitive price in nice surroundings with friendly staff. Our first visit but it won't be our last.

Used to be my favourite TKMaxx because it was kept tidy and has nice staff. Feel like the days of being able to get a good bargain have gone. Not sure if this applies to all TKMax stores now. Having said that it's vital that the town keeps this store as its the nearest thing to a department store the town has.

The settings are beautiful. The food was really good and the cost of things was relevant to the quality. The course is very good but not perfect. Tee boxes need to improve, fairways good and greens were slow and could of had a cut. But generally an all round good set up and course.
