ibis Nottingham Centre

It's alright for a no frills stay. The rooms are very basic: plug sockets are nowhere near the bed, there are no decorations and the bathroom feels like it's straight from a caravan, but the beds comfortable, there's a nice view depending on the room your in and Ibis is very conveniently located: There is a Tesco literally next door for some late night scran with a tram stop just outside as well as a bus stop with buses to Trent bridge.

Fantastic location with paid parking across the street. Near to bars, restaurants etc everything was walking distance. Room was a good size for 2 people with a nice conpact bathroom. Room was clean. Check in was smooth, although it's also a bar. Breakfast wasn't great and for the extra we paid, definitely wasn't worth it. If it was freshly cooked, it would have given the service the edge. Staff were ok, security was very pleasant.

Decent location if you want the City Centre. Hotel room was fairly small, but fine if all you need is a place to sleep after a day/night in the City. Bar is quite expensive, but not unexpected. Staff friendly and helpful. Car park opposite, and you get a few £ off the charge by staying at the hotel - although you still need to pay.

A nice, barebones hotel at a great location. It's closer to the Ibis Budget line, but our stay was pleasant. The room was quite plain, but the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. The breakfast was enjoyable with fresh, crispy bread, but nothing too fancy. All in all, for a 2 star hotel it was perfectly fine.

Perfect for one night in Nottingham, very reasonable price for a twin room which was clean, comfortable and well laid out. Good location and parking available at the Lace Market Car Park opposite (with a £2 discount by validating the ticket at the Ibis reception). Would definitely recommend.
