It was a wonderful experience. it got better because of pratik and shila as they were very welcoming and friendly. their knowledge about the dishes and their willingness to make us try the same made my meal mesmerising.can’t wait to visit again.
Probably one of the best yo's i've been to. the staff are all really friendly, food is great and the space doesn't feel too cramped. the only downside is that i do not like the new ordering system. there was something fun about the conveyer belt showing food, because it meant picking food you thought looked good but wouldn't necessarily choose. plus it makes the service seem a lot slower because you can't grab something whilst waiting for your ordered food. not notts yo's fault, but feedback for yo! itself.
1st time visit with an excited 11 yr old. met at the door and taken straight to a table. the staff member explained the ordering system and how food is delivered and lights on the little conveyor belt. once order was placed and paid for, food started to arrive at the table. seems the light system doesn't work as we managed to miss our food twice!! had an issue with food not being cooked/sent to table. after asking twice the chef delivered it to the table with a sincere apology and full refund on that item. every item we ate tasted great and my son was very happy with the sour apple drink. overall, we enjoyed our visit. would definitely return but would have to be a special occasion as food is quite expensive.
The restaurant is bright and open, with a great atmosphere if you're dining solo. i visited on a work trip and felt really comfortable. owen was brilliant, regularly asking if i wanted a top-up on my unlimited miso soup bowl, and being a pleasure to speak with.
We love yo and sushi. the food was good and we did have a good meal. i’m afraid some of the serving staff let the place down on 30th july. we were seated (pick a table and have a seat) and told to use the app to order - having to ask for everything else like eating implements, soy and dishes. our table wasn’t the cleanest and i wiped the chopsticks when we got them. please don’t use the restaurant area to store boxes of supplies on window sills in the corner, it’s really messy. the door to the washing area was left open (if there is a door) and there were pots stacked everywhere - which is fine because of the function of the room but should not be on display to diners imo. overall, i’m afraid the place is looking a bit tired and felt unloved - it needs a really good clean and brightening up, which is bonkers given all the natural light :(
