Barburrito

Made a lunch stop in Nottingham on a long journey to Norfolk and discovered Barburrito just a couple of minutes walk from the Old Market Square. It's in a grand old building, clean and spacious inside with a choice of seating including bar stools by the window. Loved the colourful murals, the exotic plants and laid-back ambience. There's a good variety of food to take out or eat in. I'm not familiar with Mexican food but the lady behind the counter was both friendly and helpful, going through all the options with me. I chose a classic burrito loaded with brown rice, vegetables, chicken, sauces, spinach, grated cheese and guacamole. Quite messy to eat with fingers, but you can have a knife and fork if you wish. The burrito was more warm than hot but it was delicious, great mix of flavours, spicy and very filling. They do not serve hot drinks, but they do sell bottles of ice tea. Had the peach flavour, a very cool and refreshing drink to accompany spicy Mexican food. It was just over £10 for the meal and drink, which I considered very reasonable. Card payment only. Enjoyed my first burrito and would come back to try more Mexican dishes!

Even though they were understaffed due to illness today, the servers were very polite and efficient. The restaurant was clean and comfortable with a calming ambience. Food was great - literally the biggest burrito I’ve ever eaten! Fresh ingredients and hygienic preparation area was relieving. Maybe slightly on the pricey side for fast food but with inflation at current levels it doesn’t surprise me. Will definitely go back when I’m in Nottingham again.

I recently visited Bar Burrito in Nottingham and I must say it was a fantastic dining experience. The restaurant is located in a lively area and has a vibrant atmosphere that instantly caught my attention. The staff at Bar Burrito were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I stepped foot inside. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. Speaking of the menu, it offered a wide range of options to choose from. There were various fillings including chicken, beef, pork, and vegetarian options. One of the highlights of Bar Burrito is that it offers good value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. I felt like I got my money's worth, which is always a bonus.

I’m new to Nottingham, literally three days here and I decided to come to Barburrito for a try with my friend. Was explained the menu perfectly and given amazing service by Joan. I was really really touched and surprised at how sweet and kind she was and how much love and care she put into the explanation of the food and preparing it for us. As for the food, it is probably the best burrito bowl I’ve ever had and I’m definitely gonna make this my first regular spot in Nottingham. Thanks Barburrito

The best burrito place I’ve been to! Been going for years and always great. They really pack them full, and it always hits the spot. Highly recommend the brownie too.
