Las Iguanas - Nottingham

Had Pisco Sour, Cheese and Mango Empanadas and Moqueca de Palmitos (was recommended by the waiter). Absolutely loved it. Definitely going back soon

We had a family lunch, the south American menu offers plenty of options and there's a good selection for children too. The coffee was decent, service was good and it was a pleasant place, though the toilets need some attention. Update May 2023: my cappuccino was not so good (too weak and milky) I had the Pescado Blanco Bobo which was salty but complex and flavoursome, the kids fish fingers were really good too and the chicken burger went down well. 👍

The food was great. After posting the 2* review below I had a call from the manager to say that they can see from the paperwork that it did happen, but it should not have as it's not their actual policy. They will investigate and refund the service charge. Original: The food was great. When I queried why the card machine was showing a higher value than the bill, I was told there is a 12% service charge policy. Fine, if that's what you do, but maybe mention it on the menu or at least show it on the bill so it doesn't come as a surprise?

Amazing food and drink as always! Bal has been our server a few times and always accommodating and lovely.

Lively, wonderful ambience, delicious food, and friendly staff. I have only positive things to say about it. Bal took great care of us. Would highly recommend!
