Mini Music

My daughter (15 months) has been attending Mini Music since she was tiny and she loves it. Artemis is great at getting the children (and parents!) involved, and she has managed to keep it all going so well online while coronavirus has temporarily stopped the face-to-face classes!

Artemis is an amazing music teacher. Our daughter has been attending her sessions since October 2019 (22 months at the time). The sessions are really affordable and this group is truly one of a kind. Artemis is very friendly and family oriented. You can tell she really cares about her class and the content she is delivering. This is something that she has created; it’s not just a franchise and she’s not just in it for the money. She genuinely cares about the development of the children. She is also very accepting of all family structures. The class is very dad friendly and is a comfortable group for dads to attend. This is incredibly rare. Artemis truly welcomes positive parenting. I have sent her videos of my daughter messing about on the keyboard or guitar at home and she has always given really positive feedback. Artemis also has very good communication skills. You can really ask her anything and she won’t make you feel stupid. She responds so quickly to messages and is always honest and open. The class is very structured and easy to follow yet also technical to the point where I am learning too. She always starts the class with a Hello song and ends with a Goodbye song. This is always the same so it is familiar for the children. The content includes singing familiar nursery rhymes mixed with folklore type songs that are more technical. She also plays classical music which she will ask us to interpret through dance or listen out for different instruments. There is also the use of instruments at the group and materials. Since March 2020, due to COVID-19, the music classes have taken place via Zoom. The content is still the same and still just as engaging digitally. We want to truly thank Artemis. We are so glad we found her and will ensure our child attends classes for as long as she can. Our daughter is now 3 and she is more involved in the classes and enjoys singing the songs, even after the class has finished.

Love, LOVE, LOVE this class!!! Artemis is fantastic and my little one adores it. We love the choice of music: classical, ballads with Artemis's guitar, and the fun Mango song! It's a far cry from all the nursery rhymes us parents are subjected to! Highly recommended!
