Woodthorpe Grange Park

Great playground with lots of different things for different ages. There is also an outdoor gym for older kids plus a cafe, ouydoor seating and toilets. There's a nice path through for a walk and some gardens to look around. There aren't many parking spaces though at busy times.

This is a small but remarkable and popular park just next to Mansfield Road and a short stroll from Sherwood. There is a cafe, playground and toilets. At the far end of the Park is an excellent garden centre and a hot house where there are seats and exotic plants. I love it!

Very large area of grassland, also woodland with over 1,000 trees. Good paths for walking, running etc. Good range of unusual trees-24 on the Tree Trail leaflet. Fascinating tours of the notable trees and history are available led by knowledgeable, enthusiastic volunteers. Toilets near small cafe. The Plant Centre is well worth a visit to enjoy the plants and buy them at fair prices. It's worth visiting the website. There are opportunities for volunteering as part of the Friends Group.

Clean park with lots of different things to do. Cafe on site with very reasonable prices. Brilliant for a dog walk or simply finding a bench to relax on and read.

Fantastic place, lovely trees and flowers. You can purchase flowers and plants from the park shop. Also the tropical greenhouse is very beautiful.
