Maths Tutor - A Level, GCSE, KS2&3, Nottingham

I can highly recommend andrew as a maths tutor. we searched for a number of weeks to find an a level tutor who actually had experience of the teaching profession rather than a university student. our son has dyslexia and we wanted to give him the best chance possible to do well in a subject he loves. andrew is very professional and very responsive to messages. he is extremely reliable. my son is benefitting from the lessons and got an a* in an assessment this week! very pleased with the tutoring. thank you.

Andrew is an excellent maths tutor. he is a professional who puts a lot of thought and consideration into teaching. he has been tutoring my son for a number of months now and i have been extremely pleased with the progress that my son has made. he has helped my son improve his skills in maths and we are very grateful to him for this. i would highly recommend him as a tutor.

My son ended year one of his maths a level un-graded, and started his second year with very little understanding and zero confidence, (to the point where he wanted to quit). he started lessons with andrew in september, going over year one curriculum within the first few weeks. quite quickly andrew gave my son the understanding and confidence to continue. andrew has been great at listening to my son and tailoring each lesson to his needs. he has shared some great resources to support self study, and my son has found these more engaging and user friendly than some of the resources suggested by the school. my son, and his teachers, are now optimistic about him getting a decent grade, and this is without doubt due to the support that andrew has provided.

Thanks to andrew my son, who is an anxious adult learner, gained confidence and improved skill with his maths ready for a test. we only had a few weeks to boost my son's skills and confidence and my son took to andrew comfortably for his gcse level test. we gained a successful outcome and i am sure that andrew played a detrimental part in that. andrew was certainly knowledgeable and supportive. he took the time to assess our situation and advise on where to head in the short time we had. thank you and we may well be back shortly for a level maths support.
