Crompton Moor

Pitch black, night orienteering. Great challenge and a very interesting area to traverse with a map and a torch. I visited every corner and a few bits in the middle. Think I'll need to return in daylight as I'm sure views will be spectacular from above the treeline

Nothing that hasn't been said before: good parking, good walks in both woodland and on moorland. Various routes around and coniferous forests. Great for dog walking and general exercise. Don't lovely views, and plenty of places for solitude.
