GAIL's Bakery Jericho

Excellent sandwiches, quiches, muffins etc. Truly great. Fresh, tasty, healthy (well, some). Very good coffee too, and without silly or confusing names. Often busy but the queue actually moves. Tables are small. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is nice, relaxed. A very nice place.

Disappointing to say the least. Dry, almost stale bagel. Pastrami and rest of ingredients were ok but the bagel ruined it. Toasted it might have been ok. Freshly baked, even better! Looks good ….but looks can be deceiving.

Most of the staff were lovely but there was one maybe a manager who was lacking the service spirit. The shop is always really busy and some people come to work which is ok but felt some people were hogging a lot of chairs when some people wanted to socialise. It will be good to have one side of the cafe for workers and other for people to be able to socialise. The counter seats felt a bit odd but the breakfast was good. Having some low sugar hot drink options (matcha latte, tea latte) could even make it better.

Beautiful cafe shop with lots of seats, variety of sandwiches, breads and drinks with good WiFi and very kind staff. Lovely environment

Avocado on sourdough, topped with seeds and a tomato relish; side of bacon (extra crispy)...it was pornograhic. Not exaggerating when I say I can't recall a nicer breakfast. Beautiful venue. Friendly staff. Would give higher than 5 stars if I could. Edit: Went back for lunch the following day.
