Cycle King Oxford

My bicycle light attachment was stolen while I was at work. Came to cycle king and they replaced it free of charge. They also explained what I can do to make it safer to avoid such occurrences. Excellent service

It was a nice experience. It was my first time buying a bike and I went in completely inexperienced. New to the country and the whole bicycle scene, was lost at first but everyone was kind and helpful and Mickey showed me everything I needed to know to get one to fit my needs and within my budget, how to take care of it and what to look out for. Bought my first bike and happy with it :) 10/10 Would recommend.

I’ve read the bad reviews online about this store, and a lot of students told ne not to buy from here, but I was in a rush and needed a bike. Please don’t make the same mistake as I did. I bought a brand new bike from here last fall for £180. It broke after two days of use. When I came to get a refund, they convinced me to get a new one (for £ 190!) saying that they will buy it back for 40% of the original price in a year. This bike wasn’t great either but whenever I came back, they told me it was working fine and that I just need to switch gears only while cycling. At this point I was tired of it so I just kept the bike. Less than a year of use, I returned to sell the gently used bike. The guy didn’t even look at it properly, but said he will give me only £30 for it because I “didn’t take care of it.” He was incredibly rude and disrespectful, not to mention the fact that they lied about buying it back for 40% off. Save yourself the trouble and don’t buy overpriced bad bikes from here, it has been a truly terrible experience

I had a problem with my back brake, which they fixed for free on the spot! They also checked my bike over and showed me how to fix brake problems myself in the future. Super lovely and kind guys and amazing speedy service, would definitely recommend:)

Very helpful - did a quick job on my bike I didn’t have the tools to do at home. Thank you! Have to update: took my bike back in to change the bottom bracket, since I didn’t have the tools to do it myself and I didn’t know quite which size was right. The guys turned the job around in less than 24 hours, on a walk-in basis, for a good price. They did exactly what I needed twice with really great customer service. Very happy.
